Elmasa Tecnología del Agua is a company which implements engineering, works and operation of hydraulic infrastructures to develop the full water cycle.
Elmasa’s know-how has been acquired over more than 45 years spent resolving the problem of water resource scarcity and contributing to the development of tourism and agriculture in the southern region of Gran Canaria island.
Its work is centred on designing, constructing and managing water collection facilities, desalination plants for brackish and seawater and the wastewater treatment and reuse.
The company also offers services and technical assistance, specialising in water treatment, desalination, purification of wastewater and telecontrol systems. Moreover, it has the means and experience necessary to develop hydrological and hydraulic planning to meet the different needs of public administrations.
Its activity is predominantly carried out in the Canary Islands. However, thanks to its international expansion policies, Elmasa has developed a wide range of works and services abroad and recently opened a branch in Cape Verde.
